Great story

A rather straight forward narrative, of what seems to be a pseudo biographical story of Mr Leon teenage years in San Diego. As they say always write about what you know. The story is catchy and well paced, and draws the reader right into the high school life style of southern California in the mid 80's and it's connections to gangs, but enough said about the plot, for 99 cents, I highly recommend you this read.

Remembering the past

Interesting story about growing up in the 80's that mixes a teenagers relationship with his family along with finding his place in school among his peers.
As much as this story is different from my upbringing it does remind me of certain aspects of what it was like in high school dealing with different classmates.
Can't wait to read the up coming weeks!
